Barangay Pili Management System

Overview

A Barangay Management System built for Barangay Pili, Camarines Sur, with two parts: a web admin panel for barangay officials, and a companion mobile app for residents to receive announcements and file document requests.

Core Features — Admin Web Panel

• Resident registry with demographic profiling (voter status, PWD, 4Ps recipient, native resident status)
• Document requests for barangay clearance, certificates, permits, and indigency certificates, with a full request-to-fulfillment workflow
• Server-generated PDF certificates, delivered by download or pickup
• Blotter/incident (summon) records with resident notifications
• Public announcements, ordinances, resolutions, and events publishing
• An account-approval workflow gating document requests until a resident is verified by staff
• A demographic analytics dashboard for officials — age, gender, PWD, 4Ps, voter, and employment breakdowns

• A two-role system (admin/resident), with the admin panel restricted to barangay staff
• A token-authenticated REST API shared between the resident mobile app and the web platform
• Server-rendered PDF certificate generation via a headless-browser renderer
• An in-app notification system for document-status changes and blotter summons

Replaces manual, paper-based barangay processes with a structured digital system — giving residents self-service access to documents and announcements from their phones, while giving officials real-time demographic visibility into their community.
