Overview

TekStock is a retail ERP built for a laptop and electronics shop, combining inventory management, sales, purchasing, and full double-entry accounting in one system — not a generic point-of-sale, but purpose-built around how a device retailer actually tracks stock.

Core Features

• Serialized stock tracking by serial number or IMEI, alongside bulk (non-serialized) stock
• Dynamic per-category spec attributes (e.g. CPU, RAM) for laptops and electronics
• Multi-warehouse inventory with stock transfers, adjustments, and a full movement audit trail
• Sales, purchases, quotations, and returns with printable invoices, purchase orders, and customer statements
• Full double-entry accounting: chart of accounts, journal entries, financial accounts, and transfers
• Financial reporting: AR/AP aging, trial balance, profit & loss, balance sheet, stock valuation, slow-moving items
• Low-stock alerts and a sales/purchasing dashboard
• A REST API with role-based access, ready for a companion mobile or web client

Architecture & Development Highlights

• A unified Contact model for customers and suppliers, each with statements and quotations
• A config-driven chart of accounts seeded with real device-retail categories (device sales, accessories revenue, device COGS, commission payable)
• A Sanctum-authenticated v1 API with camelCase/snake_case conversion middleware for a JS client

Business Impact

Replaces manual, spreadsheet-based tracking with real-time inventory, accounting, and reporting for a device retail business — the same category of tooling built for the Cooperative ERP client, applied here to my own retail operation.
